Must have been some kind of magic again. The forest really seems to specialize in making people see things that aren't really there.

I take it you were seeing things like them too.

They mentioned something about being asked to pay a price for a fortune, and whatever was there wouldn't let you get off the chair until you paid.
I guess since it didn't attack us it wasn't "that bad"
But it was still unsettling.
Probably moreso for the other two

Not exactly the same. The first time I went into the forest, I found a lake that tried to lure me in with a vision of someone from home.

A fortune? What kind of price was the thing asking for?

I don't really know how it's even possible to take things like that
Then again hallucinating seeing someone from home...

If it's possible to take color, then I wouldn't put it past them to be able to take memories or abilities.

It was someone that means a lot to me...I guess that's the problem, though.

Personally if I saw any of the other gems in that instance I'd probably at least check it out

Well, now I know what to expect out of the forest. All of do. I know I'll be a lot more careful with anything I see in there after this.
